After loss, the world moves on, but a person in grief is changed completely. You may look the same on the outside, but your insides are exhausted, confused, uprooted by your loss. Whether you are newly or longtime bereaved, a compassionate presence can help you feel supported, seen. I can offer that presence as you grieve.
For Suicide Bereaved Parents
Suicide-bereaved parents do not need fixing. They need acknowledgement; they need space to let their grief spread out, take up the space it deserves, be expressed as it must be. Being a suicide-bereaved parent is impossibly devastating; it’s a load that is almost unbearable. I will sit with you, in grief counseling, with honor for your process, for your child, for your loss. I will let you be true to yourself and to your grief. For grief is the continued expression of the eternal love you have for your child. Grief is a normal response to loss. And, it hurts so much.
