The Traumatic Grief of Suicide It is my honor to sit in companionship and support with parents who are bereaved by a child's suicide. If you are a parent who has lost a child to suicide at any age, I am so very sorry. I know about this path, for I am also a suicide-bereaved mom. I do not know more than you do about your pain, your beautiful child, your loss, your journey. I humbly offer space for you to be true to your grief, tend to your grief, and have your pain acknowledged. Somehow, being acknowledged can bring a bit of rest to the grieving heart.
